  • 100g (3.5 oz) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Bacon: In a large frying pan, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Using the same pan, sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Cook the Courgettes: Add the sliced courgettes to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
  5. Prepare the Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the double cream, stirring until heated through. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Season the Dish: Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
